The glow-in-the-dark pieces actually charge up under the lamp and stay lit long enough for a whole bedtime build. The all-terrain wheels roll surprisingly well over carpet, which my kid tested by crashing his space drone into the couch about twenty times.

My nephew builds a new rover every day, and the magnetic pieces snap together tight enough that nothing falls apart when he races it across the carpet. The glow-in-the-dark parts are a hit at bedtime, though I do wish the set came with a few more wheels for bigger builds.

The glow-in-the-dark pieces actually work — my son turned off the lights and his space drone still faintly glowed on the shelf. The wheels roll surprisingly well on carpet too, so the rover gets driven everywhere.
